Good MorningThe equity market continues to drift sideways near the recently set all-time high while traders wait on the next cues for the market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed with a small loss while the NASDAQ Composite and S&P 500 both eeked out small gains. On the one hand, traders are hopeful another round of stimulus will juice an already strong economic rebound while on the other the risks of COVID continue to weigh on the economy.
The newest round of stimulus is expected to be signed into law by mid-March and will include another check for most Americans. One of the final sticking points to be decided is who, exactly will get another check. Also to be included in the bill is an increase to the minimum wage and an extension of unemployment benefits.
